WELCOME!!
Glad you clicked in to
our website! And I'm especially glad to say a few words about who we are
here at Marysville First United Methodist. I've been the church pastor
here for a year now and have discovered to my amazement how many
different ministries and opportunities we have for Christians who want
to grow in their commitment to Christ. Our worship services, and there
are FOUR, focus on challenging Biblical preaching and Christian music to
bless and to inspire. You will find a ministry here to meet your
spiritual needs and if you don't then call or email me at the church
office and we'll begin it together!
At the forefront of all we do here is PRAYER. Yes, I know most other
church families believe that, too. Here we search to find practical ways
for our emphasis on prayer to be realized. For example we just completed
a 24/7 Prayer Vigil that lasted for two consecutive weeks! Every hour
for two weeks someone was praying in our new prayer room that Christ
would be made real in our church family and lives. Prayers of
intercession for a myriad of reasons were offered to the Lord for Him to
bless and intervene in the needs of others. Four times a year do a
kickoff for our 24/7 Prayer Ministry. Also, we pray for anyone who
expresses a request during our worship times under what we call "Prayer
for others." In the 21st chapter of Matthew, Jesus says He wants the
church to be a "house of prayer." At Marysville First we BELIEVE that!
Finally, I would like to extend a personal invitation for you to come
worship with us. I believe you'll find a large group of devoted
Christians interested in walking with Christ alongside you. Feel free to
