Children's Sunday School Ministry:

Guiding Scripture: Matthew 19:14, Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Mission: To promote the spiritual development of children in our church and community by leading them to a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

    The Children’s Ministries of Marysville First Church exist to help your children experience God’s love, learn God’s plan for their lives, and become God’s shining lights in the world. We are excited to work toward these goals using David C. Cook curriculum. This curriculum is engaging and fun. Resources are designed to connect their lives and encourage their journey of discovering about Christ.
    We offer Children’s Sunday School classes each week at 9:30 on the second floor. The children will begin in the Upper Room for a corporate time of Worship, then will be dismissed to classrooms for a Bible lesson and activities. They may pick them up at 10:30 in their classroom.
    At 10:45, we offer a Children’s Church experience, also on the second floor. The preschool and kindergarten children will begin in the Upper Room for singing at 10:45, then move to their classrooms for other activities. They may be picked up in their classrooms at 11:45. The 1st through 4th graders will meet in room 220 for Worship, Bible and activity time.
    The Youth, grades 7 through 12, have Sunday school classes on the third floor at 9:30 and 10:45.
    Children remain in their current grade level classes until Promotion Sunday in August.

CHILDCARE MINISTRY
Infancy through 3 years old (as of September 30th)

Nursery is available every Sunday morning for all worship services (8:20, 9:30, 10:45) and for 9:30 and 10:45 Sunday school in rooms 139, 143, and 146. The nursery is staffed by a very loving and competent team of staff members and volunteers. The safety and well-being of the children here at First Church is very important to us.
