Associate Pastor - Joe Ziraldo
My family and I are excited to serve and worship with the Marysville First United Methodist family. We have lived in central Ohio for the past 19 years and are proud to call Ohio our home. I was born and raised in Detroit Michigan as the fifth of seven children.
After graduation from high school, I attended Michigan State University. While completing my degree in business, I met and married my wife, Jenny of 24 years. Jenny and I have been blessed with three sons, Nick (23), Ben (20) and Andrew (14). Nick recently completed his engineering degree from Ohio State and is looking forward to starting to work full time. Ben will start his junior year at Ohio University and Andrew will start high school in the fall.
I worked for Honeywell in Minneapolis for two years before moving to the Columbus area where I have worked for Honda of America Mfg for the past 19 years as a buyer and engineer. Five years ago I felt the call to enter the ministry and entered seminary part time. Over the past year, I switched to a full-time seminarian at the Methodist Theological School of Ohio in Delaware and anticipate completing my degree in May of 2010.
